Lukashenko: Minsk, Bangkok have great potential for co-operation

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated the King of Thailand, Maha Vajiralongkorn, and all Thai people on National Day, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports

"I am sure that Minsk and Bangkok have great potential for co-operation both in the economic, political and humanitarian spheres, as well as on international platforms, primarily in the UN and ASEAN," the Belarusian leader stressed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko believes that the geographical distance between the two states does not in any way prevent Belarusians and Thais from successfully fulfilling urgent tasks to strengthen state sovereignty, improve the welfare of the population, and jointly seek solutions to the world's most pressing issues of peace and security, including food, nuclear and military components.

The President of Belarus wished the King of Thailand happiness and health, also wishing progress and prosperity to the people of this country.
