Lukashenko discussed harvesting progress and personnel issues with Deputy PM Zayats

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has been reported today by Deputy Prime Minister Leonid Zayats, tackling the progress of harvesting campaign and personnel issues

“The main question is how is the situation on our fields today? How is the harvesting going on?” asked Aleksandr Lukashenko. “The second question concerns personnel. This week, you were supposed to submit a candidacy for new Agriculture and Food Minister. I would like to hear your opinion.”

As already reported, at a recent major conference call on the harvesting campaign, it was announced that the current Head of the Agriculture and Food Ministry, Igor Brylo, will take the post of the President’s Aide for the Vitebsk Region.

“That is, personnel issues and organisation of harvesting work today,” Aleksandr Lukashenko underlined. “In the near future I will try to visit regions. I have a plan to see the western part of the country. The Grodno Region is just the zone of your responsibility. Let’s see also, perhaps, the Brest Region. A whole range of works of the Agriculture and Food Ministry.”
