Lukashenko convinced of further deepening of strategic partnership with Azerbaijan

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service

“This anniversary is a good occasion to look back at the achieved results of co-operation and outline plans for the future,” the congratulatory message reads. “It is gratifying to note the intensively developing bilateral dialogue in the political, economic and humanitarian areas with your direct support, as well as the constructive interaction between Minsk and Baku in the international arena.”

The Head of State expressed confidence that the Belarusian-Azerbaijani strategic partnership – based on long-standing traditions of friendship and trust – would consistently deepen for the benefit of the peoples of both countries, growing with new interesting initiatives and joint projects.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Ilham Aliyev strong health, inexhaustible energy on the way to the realisation of everything planned, and peace and harmony to the people of Azerbaijan.
