Lukashenko congratulated Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Statehood Day
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Statehood Day, the Belarusian leader’s press service reports
"Serbia and the Serbian people, as they have repeatedly done in the past, are now persistently fighting to preserve their identity and strengthen the country's sovereignty, based on national interests and their own assessment of world processes," the congratulatory message reads.
The Head of State stressed that Minsk always views Belgrade as an important and reliable partner in Europe and is interested in the dynamic development of multifaceted bilateral contacts in the spirit of mutual respect and support.
The President expressed confidence that further strengthening of the entire complex of Belarusian-Serbian relations based on fruitful economic co-operation fully meets the fraternal peoples’ interests.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Aleksandar Vucic good health, inexhaustible energy, the realisation of all his plans and undertakings, also wishing peace and prosperity to the people of Serbia.
