Lukashenko congratulated scientists on Belarusian Science Day

The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated scientists, employees of research institutes and higher education establishments on Belarusian Science Day that symbolises the strength of the nation's brainpower

As noted by the Belarusian leader, these are scientists who determine the rapid dynamics of the modern era, so they should be the first to give answers to all the challenges that time poses to the country.

“The developments of domestic science have always been the key to the quality of our lives, and the renewal of technologies and the introduction of innovations in all spheres of activity contribute to the socio‑economic development of Belarus,” the President’s congratulatory message reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko added that the work of many generations of scientists and specialists has created a powerful scientific and industrial base, which enables the state to successfully solve urgent problems of the economy, social and defence spheres, fully ensuring sovereignty and national security.

“Thank you for your great creative work, dedication to your favourite occupation, to which each of you has devoted your whole life,” the Belarusian leader stressed. “I wish you all good health, happiness, prosperity, new discoveries and unique achievements.”
