Lukashenko congratulated Aliyev on convincing victory in Azerbaijani presidential elections
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, has congratulated Ilham Aliyev on his convincing victory in the presidential elections in Azerbaijan. The telephone conversation took place during the Head of State’s stay in Tashkent, where Aleksandr Lukashenko and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev called their Azerbaijani counterpart together – as reported by the Belarusian leader’s press service.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Ilham Aliyev strong health and a lot of strength to implement everything planned for the benefit of the friendly people of Azerbaijan.
“You have a reliable friend in Belarus, who shares approaches to building fair and equal interstate relations, strengthening security, dialogue and trust,” the President underlined.
