Recently, the Belarusian Head of State has already met with his Kenyan counterpart. Negotiations between Aleksandr Lukashenko and Kenyan President William Ruto took place on December 1st on the sidelines of the World Climate Action Summit in Dubai. “In order for us to have a thorough conversation and improve our relations (in the name of which we’ll talk), I think you could come to us, and I could visit you at a convenient time. As a result of these visits, our specialists would work (just like in case with Zimbabwe and Equatorial Guinea), and we would be able to draw a certain plan for our co-operation, understanding what you need from us. We would look at your country and decide on our needs,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

In November, the Belarusian Head of State sent congratulations to the President of Kenya on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the countries. Aleksandr Lukashenko noted in his congratulatory message that Minsk-Nairobi dialogue is consistent and progressive, with key priority areas for joint work identified, including the mechanisation of Kenya’s agriculture, the supply of Belarusian food products, and the development of business contacts.”

“I’m convinced that the time has come to turn the potential accumulated over thirty years into concrete results,” politician Aleksandr Lukashenko.
