Lavrov acknowledges strengthening of Union State integration

Russia’s Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, told Russian and foreign journalists today that the integration within the Union State was strengthening in 2021, BelTA reports

"Last year, integration co-operation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union was actively developing, while the integration process within the framework of the Union State of Russia and Belarus was getting stronger,” Mr. Lavrov stressed. According to him, this contributed to promotion of an initiative to create Greater Eurasian Partnership.

The Russian Foreign Minister stressed that strengthening of integration processes will continue in 2022 as well.
