Kubrakov met with PMC Wagner representatives
Belarus’ Interior Minister Ivan Kubrakov has met with representatives of PMC Wagner – as reported by the Interior Ministry in its Telegram channel
The meeting was held at the Interior Ministry’s training centre and was also attended by heads and employees of the department’s special forces.
Ivan Kubrakov noted that in view of the difficult situation near the Belarusian borders, it’s especially important to be prepared to respond to possible challenges and threats. According to the Interior Minister, the practical experience of PMC Wagner members, which the soldiers are already adopting, is of great importance, since ensuring security, law and order, as well as protecting their native land are the undeniable priorities of everyone who wears shoulder straps.
At the meeting, issues of interaction with a private military company and the training of soldiers by its instructors were discussed.
“The parties have developed a clear action plan and shared views on the use of certain types of equipment,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
