The Russian Federation continues to maintain working contacts with Serbia and Hungary on ensuring stable energy supplies – as noted by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, TASS reports
Earlier, President of Russia Vladimir Putin, at a meeting on the situation on the oil market, suggested thinking about alternative export routes. When asked by the media whether such routes had been formed, the Kremlin representative confirmed the continuation of co-operation with partners.
"You know that we are in contact with Serbia and Hungary. We are receiving a huge number of requests for the purchase of our energy resources from alternative directions. We are negotiating in such a way that this situation meets our interests," Mr. Peskov stressed.
