Khrenin, Shoigu discussed bilateral military co-operation

Belarus’ Defence Minister, Lieutenant General Viktor Khrenin, held telephone talks with Russia’s Defence Minister, Army General Sergei Shoigu, the Belarusian Defence Ministry reports in its Telegram channel

Victor Khrenin and Sergei Shoigu discussed issues of bilateral military co-operation, also focusing on the ongoing set of strategic deterrence measures, as well as the preparation of the regional group of troops (forces).

As for the latter, according to the Belarusian Defence Ministry’s latest information, artillery units of the 6th separate mechanised brigade have been brought to readiness to perform tasks for their intended purpose.
