Kazakhstan’s Deputy PM sees great potential for industrial co-operation with Belarus
Kazakhstan and Belarus enjoy a great potential for development of industrial co-operation – as stated by the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, after his today’s meeting with President Aleksandr Lukashenko
“Our countries are bound by strong ties of friendship, common history, traditions, - the Kazakh guest noted. “It was important for me to come to discuss the prospects of bilateral relations, to build a concrete plan for the further development of Kazakh-Belarusian co-operation.”
Murat Nurtleu noted that the meeting with Aleksandr Lukashenko was warm, open, and confidential. The sides discussed important issues of political dialogue, trade, economic, investment co-operation, the international situation, and the countries’ interaction within multilateral structures.
“No doubt, our relations have always been distinguished by warmth and a great potential. First of all, we enjoy good prospects in the development of industrial co-operation," Murat Nurtleu stressed. “Belarus is a technologically strong state, with the well-developed agro-industrial sector and processing of raw materials. It is important for us to study the prospects for the development of co-operation in the IT sphere. We also have a great interest in developing ties in the field of medicine.”
