Joint ventures under discussion
Belarus and China have discussed establishment of joint facilities – as informed by the Economy Ministry of Belarus
The first meeting of the working group on trade facilitation of the Commission on Trade and Economic Co-operation of the Chinese-Belarusian Intergovernmental Co-operation Committee has been held online – under the chairmanship of Belarus’ Deputy Economy Minister Anzhelika Nikitina and the Second Inspector of the Department of Eurasia of China's Ministry of Commerce, Yang Xiumin. Representatives of interested departments, embassies, chambers of commerce and business circles of the two countries also took part.
As informed by the Economy Ministry’s press service, the participants discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral co-operation aimed at elimination of barriers in mutual trade. Accreditation and certification of new types of products and Belarusian enterprises, registration of formulas of Belarusian baby dry milk mixtures, logistics and interaction in the transport sector, strengthening co-operation between Belarusian and Chinese chambers of commerce and industry associations, as well as creation of joint ventures were on the agenda.
