Industrial production in Ukraine fell by almost 37%
In 2022, industrial production in Ukraine fell by 36.9 percent, according to from the data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports
RBC Ukraine portal reported on its website, “The turnover of retail trade enterprises decreased by 24.3 percent in 2022. Industrial production fell by 36.9 percent last year. The largest decline was recorded in March – 53.7 percent. Then the rate of decline slowed down (to 39.8 percent in September), but accelerated again at the end of the year to reach 44.1 percent in December.”
The publication also clarifies that the volume of construction products decreased by 65.1 percent, and in housing construction the drop was 60.3 percent.
