Industrial co-operation with China will increase competitiveness of Belarusian enterprises
This was stated by Andrei Kopytok, the Chairman of the Supreme Co-ordinating Council of the Union of Legal Entities Republican Confederation of Entrepreneurship, during an official business meeting with Shandong Yanggu Huatai Chemical Co., Ltd., the largest Chinese manufacturer of chemical raw materials for tyre production
According to Andrei Kopytok, the company is a supplier for brands such as Goodyear, Continental, Michelin, Bridgestone, Yokohama and has its own chemical engineering technology research centre to develop chemical raw materials and improve technology for manufacturing the latest generation of tyres, including large-sized ones.
“On the eve of the last meeting on the state and development of the mineral resource base, the Head of State recalled that our common goal is not only to produce products with maximum use of domestic raw materials but also to manage them competently. In the Year of Quality, particular attention should be paid to import substitution and exports, strengthening the economic security of Belarus. The Head of State drew special attention to the inadmissibility of unjustified mediation and the import of products that are already produced in Belarus,” Mr. Kopytok noted.
According to Andrei Kopytok, the confederation is aimed at fulfilling all the priorities voiced and expanding new international contacts, “Today, with our assistance, business negotiations were held with representatives of the Belshina enterprise and the Chinese company. Agreements were reached on close industrial co-operation and gratuitous use of the research centre's facilities and various technological innovations, the effectiveness of which will increase the competitiveness of the Belarusian enterprise's products exported to international markets.”
