India is interested in Belarus’ tourism potential
India has expressed its interest in the tourist potential of Belarus, sb.by report with reference to Belarus’ National Tourism Agency

A meeting with the Indian delegation took place at the Sports and Tourism Ministry of Belarus. The parties held talks on strengthening of tourism ties between the two countries and increasing the flow of tourists, as well as promoting Belarus-India co-operation in mass media and using digital platforms and marketing strategies for enhancing tourism potential. The appeal of Belarus as a destination for Indian tourists, New Delhi — Minsk flight occupancy rate and the way to optimise air service between the capitals were also discussed.
“The Indian side noted increased interest among Indian citizens in visiting Belarus’ landmarks. It was emphasised that unique nature, rich cultural heritage and the hospitality of the Belarusian people are attracting more and more Indian travellers,” the National Tourism Agency noted.
The Belarusian side invited Indian partners to the Leisure–2026, the 28th International Exhibition-Fair of Tourism Services, which will be held in Minsk from April 9th to April 11th.
“The Indian delegation's involvement will be a great opportunity to present India’s tourism potential and establish new business contacts,” the National Tourism Agency emphasised.
