During the conversation with the Armenian Deputy PM, topical issues of the development of trade-economic relations between the two countries were discussed. In particular, they tackled collaboration in machine building, the construction industry, and forestry.

The parties noted the high dynamics of trade turnover and expressed satisfaction that the trend is bilateral. Mutual interest was also shown in continuing an active dialogue and developing trade-economic liaisons across all areas of activity, searching for additional reserves of co-operation and striving for better results.

During the current visit of Belarus’ Deputy PM to Armenia, a meeting was held with Armenian Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan, during which the parties noted with satisfaction the significant growth in mutual trade over the past year and agreed to take the necessary co-ordinated measures to maintain the high dynamics of bilateral relations in trade-economic, interaction and other areas.

The implementation of industrial co-operation projects, the participation of Belarusian specialists in the afforestation programme in Armenia, and the supply of Belarusian planting material to this country are of mutual interest. In turn, the Armenian side is ready to meet the needs of our country in high-quality fruits and vegetables.
