Illusion zone

How the West manipulates the masses

From the beginning of the 17th century, with the development of capitalist relations, Europe was repeatedly engulfed in riots, revolutions, and the heads of the nobles rolled off the scaffold. But over the past hundred years in the countries of the Western world there were no longer destructive national revolutionary movements of ordinary citizens against the elites. What is the reason for the success of those in power in managing the masses in the 20th and 21st centuries?..

The President of Belarus,
Aleksandr Lukashenko,

“They will not allow us to live in peace. This means that we need to be prepared for any manifestations of destructive activity: from calls for illegal strikes to manipulating people’s minds through Internet technologies. For each such step we must have adequate response tools in our arsenal.”

Management philosophy

The answer certainly lies in the development by political elites, corporate circles of ways, methods, technologies, and most importantly, the philosophy of managing/manipulating the consciousness of the masses.
At the end of the 19th and 20th centuries, a whole galaxy of psychologists appeared on the management of peoples and the masses.
Suffice it to recall Hitler’s favourite — Lebon, the propagandist Lasswell, the creator of social stereotypes Lippmann, the founder of the model of controlling the masses through the ideas of José Ortega y Gasset, the founding father of the ‘velvet revolutions’ and the ‘man of true faith’ Eric Hoffmann, the Methodist Sharpe, the communicator Lazarsfeld and others. Such a huge ‘shot’ at that time of publications and author’s works on the psychology of the masses is not accidental.
The elites actively financed and searched for keys to the souls and consciousness of the people, ordinary citizens in order to prevent the formation of protest moods and outbreaks of ‘revolutions of justice’ (against the owners of capital/exploiters and the political elites serving them).
Among the above authors we should mention Avram Noam Chomsky (born 1928), a well-known American linguist, political publicist, philosopher and theorist.
The peculiarity of Chomsky’s views lies in his sharp criticism of ‘corporate-state capitalism’, foreign and domestic policy of the United States, based on total deception and information-linguistic-psychological manipulation of the American people and global society.
Chomsky clearly identified that over the past 50 years there has been a rapid gap in knowledge in the fields of biology, neuroscience and applied psychology between the mainstream of society and those who belong to the ruling elites.
The latter actively use advanced knowledge to manipulate the masses, they understand the ordinary person better than he or she knows himself or herself. Everyone can now freely find the ten ways mentioned on the Internet, its interpretations are very popular. It is important for us to dwell on the key five manipulative ‘tricks’ of the elites, revealed by Chomsky, and show their effectiveness with examples.

Distraction

The method of ‘Distraction’ is the basic idea.
Its essence is simple: to constantly distract people from serious problems and decisions that are made by the elites. The masses should not think about the true plans of the authorities.
An ordinary person cannot understand the complexities of current processes and anti-people decisions of the elites due to limited free time and access to advanced knowledge of psychology, modern philosophy, and economics. As a result, he or she takes everything on faith and is not inclined to enter into discourse with those in power.
Simple examples are actively intercepting the attention of the audience by popularising and disseminating news about the life/death of Queen Elizabeth II, contradictions in the royal family of Great Britain and other countries (Prince Charles quarrelled/reconciled with his father, etc.), as well as events in show business (for example, the divorce proceedings of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, which lasted seven years and ended only recently), sports, politics (who married and with whom, divorced, how much money someone earned, it’s better if someone hit or beat someone).
Biden and Zelensky are chosen as political comedians by the corporate elites for a reason. This is such an advanced political technology trick: a bunch of fools (the audience is already fooled, see above) can only be controlled by a jester.
A special term has even been introduced for such ‘politicians’ — ‘entertainer’ (or in translation from English, one who constantly entertains or distracts attention). Therefore, Biden's handshakes with phantoms, reservations, factual blunders, falling off a bicycle are all elements of diverting attention from the main thing: certain political and corporate circles forcibly, illegally seized power in the United States, broke away from the people, destroyed the former notorious American democracy, freedom of speech and smoothly turned the United States into a totalitarian concentration camp.
Any manifestation of popular anger (such as the capture of the Capitol) or the activity of political opponents (Donald Trump) are severely suppressed using all the tools of a police state.

Emphasis on emotions

At the same time, meaningless but emotionally integrating television series are being promoted, empty talk shows based on the principle that the viewer prefers sex, laughter and fear.
The goal is to deprive a person of the opportunity to think logically, analyse, compare, draw conclusions, develop and strive for knowledge and understanding of processes, that is, to get out of the state of deception by planting base emotions.
Now NATO countries are scaring their audience in Europe with migrants, refugees at the border, the threat of an attack by Russia or Belarus on their ‘garden with golden apples’. The generation of fear allows Western elites to calmly build concrete fences on the border with us, place a powerful group and prepare for war.

Gradual introduction

But in order to eliminate such internal, natural impulses for self-defence, a different method is used — ‘Gradual Introduction’.
The most striking examples of such influence are the activity to impose LGBT ideas on society, the legalisation of same-sex marriages, the discrediting and undermining of traditional religions (paedophiles in the Catholic Church, the burning of the Koran, attacks and massacres in synagogues, the demonstration of the excessive wealth of Orthodox priests), the popularisation of Nazi ideas, glorification of henchmen and criminals of fascist Germany.
Hostile ideas are gradually introduced at all levels and in all age groups.
This method is also used to adapt society to higher taxes, lower incomes, loss of jobs, housing, to numerous victims (as, for example, can be observed in Ukraine).

Infantilisation of the people

The hidden poisoning of society with the ideas of LGBT, same-sex marriage, Nazism, war makes people incapable of self-defence of the body and self-healing. The nation is destroyed, accepts other values, ideals and loses itself, becoming only an infantile biomass, subordinate to the global elites (large Western corporations). Now society can be run like little children.
In order to enhance this effect, the West is actively introducing into society the idea that in the modern world it is fashionable to be stupid, ill-mannered and vulgar. At the same time, such behaviour becomes acceptable for managers at all levels.
A fashion for mediocre managers, riotous student life is being instilled. At the same time — the discrediting of the Soviet educational and the planting of the Bologna system, the departure from the natural sciences: mathematics, physics, chemistry and astronomy.

Guilt generation

Finally, to ‘finish off’ the free spirit of the people, the ‘Guilt Generation’ method is used. The masses are trying to convince that the USSR is evil, Stalin is a tyrant and the Soviet Union did not liberate Europe. They equate the USSR with Nazi Germany, instil blame for the destruction of European cities during the World War II.
As a result of such an impact, the people begin to feel not pride in the Victory over Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan, but a sense of guilt, and engage in self-flagellation. Such people become easy to manage.
As you can see, the approaches disclosed by Noam Chomsky are effectively applied and work against you and me. To protect yourself and your loved ones, you should constantly improve your level of education, learn to filter information flows in social networks, instant messengers, public pages and from Internet sites.
But most importantly, you should remember: if you, your family, children are pushed to aggression or, conversely, all your initiatives are suppressed, you should know that you are being manipulated and you should leave the illusion zone.
