Golovchenko to negotiate with leadership of three Russian regions
A governmental delegation headed by Belarus’ Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko will hold talks with the leadership of the Novosibirsk, Irkutsk and Sverdlovsk regions of Russia, Belarus’ Government reports in its Telegram channel
The visit has begun today, on April 26th. Tomorrow, Mr. Golovchenko is scheduled to meet with the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region, Andrei Travnikov – following their joint visit to the fair of Belarusian goods that is taking place in the city these days. Among the facilities planned for the visit is the Novosibirsk Semiconductor Devices Plant Vostok; here, the PM will be shown an assembly shop for production of integrated circuits and semi-conductor devices. In addition, Mr. Golovchenko will get acquainted with the work of Sibelektroprivod JSC and visit the MTZ-Siberia Trading House to take part in a ceremony of handing over a batch of MTZ tractors to Omsk-based Baza Agrokomplekt company and the Novosibirsk District.
On April 28th, the PM will meet with the Governor of the Irkutsk Region, Igor Kobzev, also participating in a meeting of the business circles of Belarus and this Russian region.
Mr. Golovchenko will finish his visit to Russia with a one-on-one meeting with the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, Yevgeny Kuyvashev.
Actually, all visits of Mr. Golovchenko to Russian regions include the honouring the memory of the soldier-liberators who ensured peaceful sky for the peoples of Belarus and Russia. In Novosibirsk, the PM will visit the Monument of Glory in honour of the feat of Siberians during the Great Patriotic War, and in Irkutsk – the Eternal Flame Memorial Complex.
