Golovchenko: if we look from the top of pyramid of our state, each of us is an element of the unity’s foundation

Belarus’ Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko shared this opinion about the upcoming celebration of National Unity Day during his stay in the Mogilev Region

Roman Golovchenko recalled that National Unity Day is the youngest holiday in our state; however, unity today is not only history, “Any discord in any environment, even in a family, begins with economic and everyday problems, e.g., low wages. On a national scale, unity also has many dimensions. If there are serious economic problems in the country – macroeconomic imbalance or something else – this will become a provoking factor for the rocking of society. Therefore, from an economic point of view, the Government is doing everything to ensure that we have stability and development.”

The PM assessed this year’s economic results as satisfactory. However, without the work of people nothing would have happened, “We can buy as many mechanisms and machines as possible, but this will solve only part of the issues. Meanwhile, the strength of Belarusians lies in unity. If we look at it from the top of the pyramid of our state, each of us is an element of the foundation of unity. It’s very important for us to preserve our Belarusian spirit, Belarusian tolerance and desire for creative work.”
