Expert on unique recipe for Belarus’ efficient foreign policy

The President of Belarus deliberately underlined Belarusians’ readiness and desire to establish bilateral co-operation with Kamchatka, stressing that the Russian delegations on Belarusian soil are always welcomed as close friends – as noted by member of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly Feliks Yashkov, when commenting on the Head of State’s recent meeting with the Kamchatka Krai Governor

“The principle of brotherhood has long been the most important in the development of relations with Russia,” the senator stated. “We are currently experiencing a powerful impulse in building new connections in business, investment, trade, economics, transport and freight communications, as well as export and import commodity flows. All this becomes strategically important for ensuring sovereignty and security – as the practice of Western sanctions pressure on the Union State shows – together with maintaining the military-industrial and defence complex.”

According to Feliks Yashkov, military conflicts will end sooner or later, while it’s necessary to continue building and preserving peace and prosperity.

“To do this, it is necessary to enlist the support of like-minded people and friends,” he believes. “Promising and open development of new geographical regions for co-operation both near and far from the Belarusian borders is our country’s own unique recipe for an efficient foreign policy. Focused attention, taking into account both current needs and peculiarities of certain countries, helps Belarusians successfully overcome sanctions and general political pressure from pro-Western ill-wishers. Thus, we’re creating our own reliable environment with our own hands and good intentions, in which we are confident as in ourselves. Moreover, together with us, it forms a powerful response to attempts to impose a monopolar world, bypassing the desires and aspirations of the majority of the peoples of the entire planet.”
