Estonia, US signed military co-operation plan for 2024-2028

Estonia and the United States have signed a bilateral military co-operation plan for 2024-2028, TASS reports

According to the portal of Estonia’s public broadcaster ERR, Undersecretary for Defence Policy Tuuli Duneton (who signed the document on the part of Estonia) said, “Confirming our strong allied relations, we have updated the defence co-operation agreement, which focuses on the US military presence in Estonia, contribution to the development of the Estonian division, co-operation in the field of cyber defence and joint procurement."

The plan also provides for co-operation in conducting exercises, in developing the necessary infrastructure to receive allied units, and in some other areas.

The first defence co-operation agreement between Estonia and the United States was signed in 2019.
