Kim Jong Un said that the DPRK must outline course for the development of its military industry to further and consistently improve the country’s ‘readiness for war’. After analysing the security situation in the region, Kim Jong Un underlined the need for the country to have ‘overwhelming’ force, while also noting the justice of the arms buildup.

The North Korean leader called South Korea ‘the main adversary’ that is stirring up ‘an atmosphere of confrontation and accelerating the buildup of military forces’. He urged to primarily strengthen the DPRK’s defence and nuclear war deterrent forces.

Kim Jong-un also added that until S. Korea realises the error of its confrontational policy – contrary to humanity’s desire for peace – the DPRK’s practical retaliatory actions will continue.
