The Belarusian Automobile Association (BAA) reported that in December, new passenger cars produced in Belarus made up 70 percent of total sales

“December is traditionally the most active month for the car market, highlighting the strength of the domestic automotive industry,” the association stated.

According to BAA figures, Belarusian dealers sold 5,700 new passenger vehicles. Although overall sales in December dropped by 14 percent compared to December 2024, the standout achievement was the record sales by BELGEE JSC. The Belarusian company sold 4,069 cars under the Belgee and Geely brands, nearly a 50 percent increase from November. This surge was attributed to competitive pricing and attractive financing options.

As a result, expert note that domestic manufacturers accounted for 70 percent of all new passenger car sales in Belarus during this period.
