Companies from Pakistan to sell agricultural products, industrial and consumer goods via BUCE

The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) may become a platform for the sale of products of companies from Pakistan that plan to supply them to Belarus and the EAEU member states – as noted by Aleksandr Bashliy, the Head of the BUCE Foreign Relations Department, during negotiations with a delegation of Pakistani business circles at the BUCE central office in Minsk

“The exchange can play a key role in the development of Belarusian-Pakistani trade relations as a platform for finding business partners and concluding import-export transactions. At the same time, enterprises from Pakistan receive not only an electronic storefront for the presentation of goods, but also a number of tools and services that simplify doing business in Belarus. They can participate in the auction both independently and through stock brokers, who, as a rule, take on some of the risks. In Pakistan, we already have one company with this status, but we are interested in expanding the brokerage network,” said Aleksandr Bashliy.

The head of the Pakistani delegation proposed to study the possibility of selling food and industrial products produced in Pakistan at BUCE. In his opinion, dried fruits, rice, plastic and leather products will be in high demand among Belarusian bidders.

“The main thing is to build the logistics correctly, especially in the current conditions. We have already identified possible routes for the movement of goods in both directions. We expect that the stock exchange will allow to arrange deliveries of Pakistani goods to Belarus and trade with Belarusian enterprises bypassing intermediaries,” the Pakistani businessman said.
