China hosting CIFTIS Fair
The largest international trade fair for services – CIFTIS-2023 – is being held in Beijing until September 6th, Xinhua reports
Themed ‘openness leads to development, co-operation creates a win-win future’, CIFTIS-2023 is held at the China National Convention Centre and the Shougang Park in Beijing, covering an area of 155,000 square metres and offering 202 events – including forums, negotiations and summits.
“The exhibition will encompass a wide array of topics, such as telecommunications, information services, financial services, health and sanitation services, and environmental services,” Zhou Ling, the Deputy Director of Beijing’s International Service Trade Centre, said earlier.
A total of seventy-five countries and international organisations have confirmed their participation, and more than 70 renowned enterprises and institutions are showing their achievements at the fair. Over 2,000 companies are joining CIFTIS-2023 in offline and online formats.
The United Kingdom is the guest country of honour this year.
