An agreement on this has been reached during a visit to the BUCE central office by an ICCI delegation headed by its Chairperson, Dr. Ritika Yadav. ICCI unites over 10,000 companies across India: mainly small and medium-sized businesses that operate in various industries and agriculture.

“We provide a variety of services for efficient business, including market analytics, assistance in attracting investments, training courses, finding business partners in India and abroad. However, our main task is to assist in scaling the business. This, as a rule, involves entering the markets of other countries, including the Republic of Belarus. Taking into account low risks, a wide product range and direct access to leading Belarusian enterprises, I believe that the stock exchange is the best option for starting work. For our part, we will try to attract new participants from India, from neighbouring countries,” suggested Dr. Ritika Yadav.

First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange Eduard Belsky expressed his readiness to develop collaboration with ICCI in any areas, provided that such interaction would result in an increase in the volume of exchange trade between Belarus and India.

“We’d like interaction to be exclusively practical. I propose to focus specific commodity items that are in demand in Belarus and India, to jointly attract sellers and buyers from both countries to the auction. For example, we know that Belarusian acrylic fibre and other petrochemical products are in high demand in India. Transactions for this group of goods are regularly made on our platform. Sawn timber, dairy products, and light industry goods are no less promising positions. The main thing is to convey this information to a wider circle of Indian business representatives and in this regard we count on your support,” Mr. Belsky stressed.
