One of the main projects – which is currently being developed at the enterprise – is the national postal electronic system. It envisages sending and receiving simple and registered letters online, without visiting a post office, while providing high quality delivery and receipt services around the clock.

“Another major project – Mobile Postman – is being implemented since 2019,” Mr. Vazhnik informed. “We provide almost every postman, especially in rural areas, with mobile devices that help render almost a full range of services. As a result, our employees can serve clients remotely, outside post offices – i.e. accept payments, register subscription or pay out money transfers right on the spot. All this significantly improves the quality of services.”

Another project that Belpochta attaches great importance to is related to providing of 24/7 contactless delivery of mail with goods or products. Accordingly, a network of automated parcel terminals is being developed. There are forty of them countrywide. So far, such terminals help receive international mail only but, over time, it will be possible to leave a parcel there or receive an internal mail.
