BelAZ machinery enjoys demand in Iran
BelAZ has been visited by an Iranian delegation headed by Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade Seyed Reza Fatemi Amin, Belarus’ Industry Minister Piotr Parkhomchik, as well as heads of the country’s major enterprises participating in a meeting of the joint Belarusian-Iranian commission on economic co-operation – as informed by the plant’s Telegram channel
BelAZ top managers and representatives of the Iranian business community discussed a number of issues of mutually beneficial partnership.
“Over the recent decade, BelAZ machinery has been enjoying a great demand in the Iranian market. It is reliable, and it has shown itself only from the best side. Since we plan to increase our mining production, we would like to receive about 800 more quarry dump trucks – choosing BelAZ for this purpose," Seyed Reza Fatemi Amin said.
“The country has huge reserves of copper, and it is a strategic raw material for production of electric vehicles. The Iranian partners are primarily interested in quarry dump trucks with a lifting capacity of 90-130 tonnes,” Belarus’ Industry Minister added.
The delegation participants visited the BelAZ production workshops and an exhibition area featuring samples of manufactured equipment. The Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran highly appreciated Belarus’ latest development: a 90-tonne battery electric dump truck BELAZ-7558E.
