Belaya Rus party establishing contacts with N. Korea
Minsk hosted a meeting of the leadership of the Belarusian Belaya Rus party with representatives of the diplomatic mission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Belarus on March 27th
Belaya Rus Chairman Oleg Romanov noted the similarity of the two countries’ positions on the establishment of a more just world order. “Despite attempts to isolate the country, North Korea is successfully developing and strengthening its defence capability. Our party fully supports the policy pursued by the Workers' Party of North Korea," he stressed.
In turn, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of North Korea to Belarus, Ju Jong Bong, congratulated the party on its successful participation in Single Voting Day, “The results of the election campaign indicate the extreme cohesion of the Belarusian society, high patriotism and trust of citizens," the diplomat stressed.
The Workers' Party of North Korea is interested in closer co-operation with the Belaya Rus party of Belarus. The sides expressed confidence that they will be able to contribute to the development of international relations between the peoples of Belarus and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
