Belarusian, Cuban industry ministries agreed to create working group on co-operation
Belarus’ Deputy Industry Minister Dmitry Kharitonchik held a meeting with his Cuban counterpart, Jose Gaspar Alvarez, to discuss issues of bilateral co-operation, the Industry Ministry reports
The talks were also attended Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Republic of Belarus Santiago Perez Benitez was also present at the talks.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to work out the issue of creating a working group on co-operation between the industry ministries of Belarus and Cuba.
Among other options for co-operation is the involvement of enterprises of the Industry Ministry to assist the Cuban side in restoring its existing fleet of equipment.
Mr. Kharitonchik expressed readiness to discuss new projects for the supply of Belarusian equipment to Cuba.
