Belarus, Vietnam signed joint security co-operation plan for 2024-2026
The State Secretary of the Security Council, Aleksandr Volfovich, held talks with the Minister of Public Security of Vietnam, To Lam, the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Vietnam reports
The focus was on strengthening co-operation in the field of security, including the exchange of experience and information, holding joint events, participating in international forums, responding to modern challenges and threats, including cross-border ones. Following the meeting, the parties signed a joint co-operation plan for 2024-2026.
“On the same day, the State Secretary of Belarus’ Security Council, Aleksandr Volfovich, met with the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chinh. During the talks, the parties expressed interest in further developing bilateral co-operation, including on security, trade and investment, increasing the level of political contacts, and implementing joint projects. Ambassador Vladimir Borovikov took part in the events,” the diplomatic mission reported.
