Belarus, UAE discussed prospects for co-operation in communications and informatisation
Belarus and the United Arab Emirates plan to develop co-operation in the field of communications and informatisation, and the issue was discussed by Belarus’ Minister of Communications and Informatisation Konstantin Shulgan and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Belarus, Ibrahim Salim Mohammed Al-Musharrah, sb.by reports with reference to the Ministry of Communications and Informatisation
The parties discussed prospects for bilateral co-operation, including issues of digitalisation, development of artificial intelligence technologies, protection of information systems taking into account modern challenges and threats.
"An agreement has been reached to work out the possibility of signing a bilateral document on co-operation in the field of communications and informatisation," the source reported.
Konstantin Shulgan invited the UAE diplomat and interested Emirati companies to attend the 30th International Forum on Information and Communication Technologies TIBO-2024 scheduled to be held in Minsk on June 5th-8th.
