Belarus taking part in ITU World Radiocommunication Conference 2023 in Dubai
Belarus will take part in the ITU World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC) 2023 scheduled to be hosted by Dubai from November 20th to December 15th, the Ministry of Communications and Informatisation reports

It is noted that, during the conference, solutions will be developed on issues of international regulation of the use of the radio frequency spectrum and satellite orbits, taking into account the need for further harmonised development in the world of promising radio technologies for cellular mobile, satellite and maritime communications, provided that the current radio communication services work without interference.
As reported, employees of the BelGIE state enterprise will take part in the conference as Belarus’ delegates. Their attendance will contribute to the protection of the country’s interests when developing consolidated decisions on the conference agenda in order to develop the main provisions of the position of the Communications Administration into the WRC 23 final acts.
It is also noted that this conference is held every three to four years.
