Belarus to showcase its tourism potential at international exhibition in Uzbekistan

Director of the National Tourism Agency Kirill Masharsky has met with Uzbek Ambassador Nuriddin Mamajonov to discuss the increasing mutual interest in tourism between the two countries. They also talked about plans for Belarus to participate in an exhibition in Tashkent and the organisation of the 2nd Belarus-Uzbekistan tourism forum. sb.by reports citing the National Tourism Agency.

The National Tourism Agency hosted the meeting between its Director Kirill Masharsky and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Belarus, Nuriddin Mamajonov.

Both sides highlighted the growing mutual interest in tourism exchanges and noted that co-operation between the two countries remains consistently positive.

Their discussions focused on preparations for important upcoming events: the Belarusian delegation’s participation in the 31st Tourism on the Silk Road — TITF 2026 International Exhibition, set for November in Tashkent, and the planning of the 2nd Belarus-Uzbekistan tourism forum.

The two sides agreed that these events will strengthen the partnership in accordance with the directives from the two countries’ leaders, encourage increased tourist traffic, and foster effective co-operation mechanisms. The interaction between Belarus and Uzbekistan is based on an agreement for tourism development and a co-operation programme aimed at mutual growth in tourist flow and tourism development for 2026-2027.
