Belarus, Türkiye have many common interests and prospects for co-operation

Belarus and Türkiye have many common interests – as underlined by Belarus’ Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) Aleksei Bogdanov during a meeting with Gürhan Albayrak, the Honorary Consul of Belarus in the Turkish city of Eskisehir and Head of the Turkish company Albayrak Makine Elektronik San. ve Tic. During the meeting, Aleksei Bogdanov noted, “Our countries have many common interests and prospects for co-operation across various fields, including trade, culture, education, tourism and others.”

The Belarusian Minister also expressed confidence that the work of Gürhan Albayrak as an Honorary Consul will help build stable and strong bridges between the Turkish and Belarusian peoples.

The press service added that during the meeting, the parties discussed potential opportunities for expanding export-import operations, including using the parallel import mechanism. The Turkish side received full information about the Belarusian approaches to price regulation in the consumer market, the public procurement system, competition rules and antimonopoly regulation.
