The report reveals the large-scale and systemic problems in this area in certain Western countries and brings the necessary balance to the consideration of human rights issues at the international level.

The document is based on various sources, including assessments of relevant UN special mandates, and contains visual material, supported by images and links to videos, that demonstrates gross violations of basic rights and freedoms in Western countries, including suppression of dissent, censorship, harassment of journalists, discrimination, and the use of violence by law enforcement agencies during peaceful protests. Special attention is paid to problems in the field of migration policy and social protection, the distortion of the historical past and the promotion of theories of racial superiority.

The report aims to draw the attention of the world community to the structural problems in the field of human rights in Western countries and is an important component of an objective analysis of the human rights situation in the world.

The International Bill of Human Rights enshrines the principles of universality, indivisibility, interconnectedness, interdependence and binding human rights. In this context, the report provides convincing arguments about the need to take internal measures to eliminate systemic violations of citizens' rights so that Western countries conform to their self-promoted image of an exemplary model of democracy. The facts presented in the report serve as confirmation that the Western human rights model cannot cope with this burden at this stage.

Belarus continues to advocate for the depoliticisation of the human rights agenda and strict observance of universal human rights by all states without the use of double standards.
