Belarus presents unique water purification technologies in Dubai

During the Days of Belarusian Science – held as part of World EXPO-2020 from February 2nd to 3rd in Dubai (UAE) – the Institute of Physical Organic Chemistry at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB) presented unique materials and technologies for water purification from heavy metals, including nickel, cobalt, lead, iron and charged organic substances – as reported by the press service of the National Academy of Sciences

At the meeting of the Medicine, Pharmaceutics, Biotechnologies and Information Technologies in Medicine section, Director of the Physiology Institute at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Sergei Gubkin, spoke about the Academy’s high-tech developments in the field of monitoring vital functions of the human body and preventing COVID-19. The report of Yuri Yatsyna, Director of the Research and Production Centre for Multifunctional Unmanned Systems, was devoted to unmanned aerial systems manufactured at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.

The delegation of the Academy of Sciences headed by NASB Chief Scientific Secretary Andrei Ivanets took part in the Days of Belarusian Science in Dubai. The goal of the scientists was to present the research and innovation potential of our country and to negotiate with potential foreign partners.
