Belarus launched fast railway route for exports to Iran

Beltamozhservice unitary enterprise has launched an operational railway route to ship goods to Iran, sb.by reports with reference to the company's website

The new service involves the co-ordination of international transportation of goods using container trains. The route runs through the territory of Belarus, the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan.

Cargoes are delivered to the initial station by road, and then put on railway platforms. The journey time takes from 13 to 15 days.
