Belarus, Kyrgyzstan agreed to continue working together to organise air travel between the countries
The Minsk National Airport has hosted negotiations between Director General of the Minsk National Airport Vyacheslav Khoroneko and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Belarus, Erbol Sultanbaev – as reported by the airport’s Telegram channel
“During the talks, the parties discussed issues of bilateral co-operation, particularly, joint work on the resumption of flights between Bishkek and Minsk by a Belarusian or Kyrgyz carrier,” the statement reads.
During the meeting, the significant transit potential of Manas International Airport (Bishkek) was noted, which can become a convenient connecting point when planning routes to the countries of Southeast Asia.
“The parties agreed to continue joint co-ordinated work on organising air flights between Belarus and Kyrgyzstan, paying special attention to informing the population about the tourist attractiveness of our states,” added the Minsk National Airport.
