Belarus is an exporter of peace and order, expert asserts

Aleksei Avdonin, an analyst with the Belarusian Institute of Strategic Research, shared his views on the yesterday’s telephone conversation between Aleksandr Lukashenko and French President Emmanuel Macron

“The West always acts according to its general strategy. It is based on some advice and conversations but ends with nothing good. The West is trying to play with us and with Russia. Our President has clearly indicated: if you do not pose a threat to us, we will ensure peace and order," the expert believes.

According to Mr. Avdonin, the European leaders are now facing a key choice – ‘either to preserve and strengthen their independence, which will ensure peace and order in the European part of our continent, or to be persuaded by the Anglo-Saxon world, as a result of which an escalation of the conflict is possible’.

Speaking of Belarus as a platform for negotiations, the expert noted, “Belarus is an exporter of peace and order; we have been demonstrating this for many years. Of course, everyone is now trying to offer other venues but the Slavs – Belarusians, Russians and Ukrainians – should figure everything out without western advice and purely within their family.”
