The agreement has been reached during the negotiations between Aleksandr Rogozhnik, the Ambassador of Belarus to Russia, and Oleg Belozerov, the Russian Railways Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Executive Board, sb.by reports with reference to the Belarusian diplomatic mission’s press service
According to the press service, the two sides discussed topical issues of Belarusian-Russian co-operation in railway communication.
“The expansion of passenger and freight transportation, the implementation of decisions on suburban transportation, the modernisation of the railway infrastructure at ports, and the construction of a high-speed highway along the Moscow-Minsk-Moscow route were discussed,” the diplomatic mission emphasized.
Mr. Rogozhnik expressed gratitude to the Russian partners for their role in organising and taking part in the Memory Train cultural and educational initiative, which took place from June 20th to July 5th, 2025.
