Belarus, Egypt discuss liaisons in youth policy
The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Sergei Terentiev, met with the Minister of Youth and Sports of Egypt, Ashraf Sobhi, on February 14th – as informed by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
The sides welcomed intensification of bilateral co-operation, including preparations for the signing of a joint action plan on liaisons between Belarus and Egypt in the field of youth policy. In this regard, the Belarusian diplomat appreciated the 4th World Youth Forum that was held successfully in Sharm el-Sheikh in January 2022.
Interaction in the sports sphere was agreed upon – including organisation of joint events in both countries as part of the Sports Week in Belarus and Egypt. Gymnastics, football, chess and sports medicine are of particular attention.
