Belarus, China preparing draft plan for applied co-operation development until 2030

“The parties discussed topical issues of Belarusian-Chinese co-operation, including the implementation of agreements reached by the heads of state and a plan of bilateral activities for 2024. The importance of preparing a draft plan for the development of applied co-operation between Belarus and China until 2030, deepening technological and investment liaisons, regional ties, and the implementation of humanitarian initiatives was recognised.

As reported by the Foreign Ministry’s press service, interaction within the framework of international organisations was discussed as well, and China’s readiness to continue to support Minsk in the preparation of Belarus' accession to the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation as a full member and the promotion of the republic’s application to BRICS were noted.
