Belarus, Azerbaijan agreed to continue mutual support on international platforms
The agreement was reached during a telephone conversation between Belarus’ Foreign Minister, Vladimir Makei, and Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov – as informed by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service
As reported, the sides discussed current issues of bilateral relations, plans for future contacts and joint activities, including in the field of trade and economic co-operation between Belarus and Azerbaijan.
"Vladimir Makei also expressed gratitude to his colleague for the allied, decent position taken by Azerbaijan within the framework of the recent Eastern Partnership summit in Brussels. Azerbaijan demonstrated a responsible approach of a sovereign state – consistent with the spirit of strategic Belarusian-Azerbaijani relations," the Foreign Ministry noted.
The sides agreed to continue interaction and further mutual support on international platforms.
