Belarus-Armenia trade turnover increased 1.5-fold

Belarus’ Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Nazaruk, who took part in the recent visit of a government delegation to Armenia, told the sb.by portal about the economic effect of bilateral co-operation

“In 2022, we increased our trade turnover by more than 1.5 times compared to the previous year. The indicators of the current period also inspire positive expectations, suggesting that we have found the right points of contact with a partner, because trade is a two-way road. If we offer something, but there is no due attention to this at the other end, then the deal will not work out. Here we see the opposite, which is connected with the fact that our goods are in demand, meeting the demands of the market, and we are ready to increase additional volumes.”
