Belarus and India ready for high level contacts

Belarus’ Foreign Minister, Vladimir Makei, has met with the Indian External Affairs Minister, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, as part of the Summit of the Council of the Heads of State of the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation in Dushanbe – as informed by the Belarusian Foreign Ministry’s press service 

The foreign ministers of Belarus and India discussed issues of enhancing political co-operation between the two countries, including prospects for resuming contacts at the highest and high levels, as well as interaction in international organisations.

The sides also exchanged views on topical issues on the international agenda, paying special attention to prospects for further development of the Belarusian-Indian trade and economic co-operation.
