Baravikou took part in ceremony marking 50th anniversary of Paris Peace Accords

Ambassador of Belarus Uladzimir Baravikou took part in a ceremony dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Paris Agreement on Ending the War and Restoring Peace in Vietnam – as reported on the website of the Belarusian diplomatic mission

“This event is of exceptional importance not only for Vietnamese historiography, but it also marked an important role in the history of international relations,” the Belarusian diplomatic mission told the sb.by portal.

The solemn ceremony was also attended by members of the Politburo and the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, as well as the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Vietnamese Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son spoke at the event in the presence of former head of the delegation of the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of Vietnam, foreign diplomats, former Vietnamese officials and historians.

The solemn ceremony of specialised stamp cancellation also took place as part of the event.
