Azerbaijan’s AZAL opens regular flights from Baku to Minsk

The national air carrier of Azerbaijan, AZAL, is opening regular flights from Baku to Minsk. The first flight on the Baku-Minsk-Baku route is planned to be operated this year on October 2nd. The airline will operate flights four times a week: on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Travel time is about four hours.

Tickets and schedules are available on the AZAL website, in the mobile app and from accredited airline agencies.

The Ministry of Transport and Communication of Belarus recalled that this is not the first time AZAL has entered the Belarusian market. It has already operated flights to Minsk from 2014 to 2018.

AZAL occupies a strong position in the international ranking according to Skytrax. In October 2023, AZAL airlines and the local low-cost airline Buta Airways will merge into a single brand – AZAL,” noted the transport department.
