Belarus and Iran have a wide range of areas for co-operation – as stated by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Belarus Alireza Sanei in his talk with journalists today, sb.by reports
Prior to his meeting with the Chairman of the Standing Commission on International Affairs of the House of Representatives, Sergei Rachkov, at the Government House in Minsk today, the diplomat noted that all areas of co-operation are priorities, and they have enough opportunities and potential for Iran-Belarus interaction.
“Last August, our President paid an official visit to Belarus, and bilateral relationship has begun to develop more actively since then. I can mention the economy among the main areas of co-operation: Iran and Belarus are working on large and important economic projects,” the diplomat said.
Alireza Sanei also focused on the interparliamentary liaisons, “It is important for us to co-operate in cultural, educational, medical, scientific and technical fields. We are actively interacting and developing new projects here. In short, there is a very wide range of areas for interaction between our countries, and we want our liaisons with the Republic of Belarus to be developed even more intensively.”
The diplomat also thanked the President, the Government, the heads of various bodies and the people of Belarus for their support of Iran.
